Basic Things to do in Maths

:First  of all , you need  to remember all this, before you do some really handy stuff:

  • Remember table at least till 20 (as given below) :
Table 2 to 20 (With images) | Multiplication table, Math tables ...

  • Squares from 1 to 25 :
List of Perfect Squares | Printable Charts

  • Cube and Cube Roots 1 to 30 :
Cubes til 1 to 30 - Math - Cubes and Cube Roots - 12604017 ...

  • Addition, Subtraction, Multiplication, Division of large numbers. (Follow the Calculation Booster in ExamTyari app daily atleast 30 min to improve calculation skills)

  • Understand below topics very clearly :
  1. Whole Number
Whole Numbers are simply the numbers 0, 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, ... (and so on), But negative numbers (-1,-2,-3 .... ) and fractions numbers (0.01,0.02.0.3......) are not Whole number.

Example :

          0, 7, 212 and 1023 are all whole numbers

(But numbers like ½, 1.1 and 3.5 are not whole numbers.)

   2. Integers : All number (Either positive (+) or Negative (-) ) all are the Integers

      Negative Integers : -1,-2,-3,-4........

Neutral Integers : 0 (this number is neither Positive nor Negative)

     Positive Integers : 1,2,3,4,5,............

Note : All whole numbers are positive integers by default.

 3. Even Numbers : Any number that can be exactly divided by 2 is called as an even number. Even numbers always end up with the last digit as 0, 2, 4, 6 or 8. Some examples of even numbers are 2, 4, 6, 8, 10, 12, 14, 16.

 4. Odd Numbers : Odd numbers are whole numbers that cannot be divided exactly into pairs. Odd numbers, when divided by 2, leave a remainder of 1. 1, 3, 5, 7, 9, 11, 13, 15 … are sequential odd numbers. Odd numbers have the digits 1, 3, 5, 7 or 9 in their ones place.
5. Prime Numbers : Prime number are all positive Integers (Natural Numbers Ex. 1,2,3,....) completely divisible by exact 2 natural numbers (first number is 1 and second number is itself that number) or A number that can be divided by number 1 and by itself only then it is called prime number.

 Example :
Number 1 : here we can divide number 1 by 1 perfectly
                                                                       1 / 1 = 1
But, Again here we can not divide 1 by another number so here 1 is not prime number

Example :
Number 2 : Here we can divide number 2 by 1 perfectly :

                                                                        2 / 1 = 2
Again, we can try to divide number 2 by number 2
                                                                       2 / 2  = 1
Yes, We can divide this number 2 by 2 numbers but can not be divide by any other number,
So this number either can be divide by number 1 or can be divide by itself is Prime Number.

Example :
Number 4 : Here we can divide number 4 by 1 perfectly :
                                                                           4 / 1 = 4
Again we can divide the number 4 by itself :
                                                                        4 / 4 = 1
Perfectly, But wait Prime numbers says that number will not be divide by more than 2 numbers but here 4 Can also be divide by 2 .... Lets see.:
                                                                     4 / 2 = 2
So here number 4 can be divide by 1 , 2,  4  (More than 2 numbers) so its not a Prime Number.

Some Examples of Prime numbers are given below (Please have a try on these numbers by yourself to check weather these are given right )
